ARTIST BIO

With a versatile sound that has been described throughout the years as emotive, surprising, forceful with ease, comforting, and genre bending, Ree Boado’s sophomore solo release, Out of the Mouth of Caves, highlights a softer, more melancholy side of the artist. Layered with haunting vocals and acoustic instruments as the musical base, this album is a collection of songs in search of the wisdom that can only come from our darkest moments of distress. Produced by Grammy Award winner Brian Whitman, Out of the Mouth of Caves has proven to be a strong step in the right direction for Ree.

Over several years of performing, writing, recording, and touring locally and nationally with three different bands, Ree has had the opportunity to share the stage with a wide range of musicians including Grammy Winner Brian Whitman, Grammy nominees Katie Herzig and Sophie B. Hawkins, Dove Award winner Chris August and Dove nominee Audrey Assad, Billboard Artists Penny and Sparrow, Taking Back Sunday, and JJ Heller, American Idol's Brooke White, and Stephen Egerton of the punk band Descendents.

Ree has recorded seven albums and many singles, been featured in a documentary in Mexico City, won 3rd place in The Voice of Shunde competition while living in China, has had her songs licensed in independent films and in stores throughout the world, and is a voice coach for other aspiring singers. Ree has also performed with non-profit organizations as an artist and speaker, providing hope for healing from the effects of abuse. Originally from Phoenix, with 4 years in the Nashville area and some stints in China and Scotland, Ree recently moved back to Tennessee with her husband, daughter and two fur babies, where she coaches other singers in Johnson City and all over the world Online. When Ree is not teaching, she can be found writing and recording her own music, writing her first book, session singing, traveling, hard core momming and trying to encourage and inspire as many people as she can along the way.

Associated Bands: Dearspeak, Desert Eyes, Art For Starters, Lesser Heroes, Mama Birds, and several worship teams throughout the years.
